Monarca Coffee – Café Veracruz is selected coffee from the hills of Huatusco, Veracruz (Mexico) where Italian descendent families have grown high altitude coffee for decades. Each ripe coffee cherry is hand-picked during the harvesting; equally important, the processes of fermenting and roasting are handcrafted too, hence the unparallel degree of excellence that is present in our coffee, now available to Australia.

Café Veracruz is a certification of origin, it’s granted to coffee that meets certain criteria. In a similar way that France certifies some products under Appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC), legislated by the Institut National des Appellations d’Origine (INAO) – Champange, can only be from certain places of France – it this way, Café Veracruz can only be from Mexico. Yes, our coffee is quite special.
